The Auberge le St-Amour (formally the home of a Dr. McDonald) has the dubious distinction as the point of origin for the disastrous 1898 fire that consumed a large portion of the village, but miraculously spared two adjacent churches. Rebuilt in 1902 the Auberge le St-Amour is one of sixteen heritage buildings on Sutton's tour. Enjoy the Village of Sutton's many fascinating historical tours, while escaping the hustle and bustle of modern civilization. |
